Q. Can I order products directly from Milex?
A. Our products are not for sale to the general public. We ask that you contact your physician to obtain Milex products.

Q. What are pessaries used for?
A. Pessaries are a non-surgical approach for a variety of indications including Uterine Prolapse (a descent of the uterus in to the vaginal vault), Urinary stress incontinence (women), Rectocele (a hernia of the rectum), and Cystocele (a dissention or Hernia of the bladder into the vaginal vault).

Q. Should I be able to feel a pessary after it is inserted?
A. A properly fit pessary will cause no discomfort and the patient should not even feel the pessary in place.

Q. How and why do I use Trimo-San with my pessary?
A. Trimo San is a vaginal medication intended to help maintain a healthy environment in the vagina. You should consult your health care professional on the use of Trimo-San. Pessary wearers usually use ½ an applicator of Trimo-San 3 times a week for the first week then a ½ applicator 2 times a week thereafter.

A. A patient can purchase a pessary from Milex only with a prescription form that is filled out and signed by a health care professional. You may contact your local Milex sales representative or call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-621-1278 to obtain pessary prescription forms.
