Oligospermia Cups

Abbreviated Information:

Syringe with attached narrow cannula used for intracervical or intrauterine insemination. Can also be used to aspirate semen from its container and inject into OLIGOSPERMIA CUP.

Purpose:

Artificial Insemination AID or AIH and ICI or IUI.

Advantages:

• Seminal fluid can be deposited directly into the cervical canal or uterus by-passing the cervical mucus

Warning:

• Only washed spermatozoa should be used when performing intracervical or intrauterine insemination.
• Unwashed spermatozoa in the uterus by any insemination device is known to result in severe adverse reaction, including anaphylactic shock.
• Determine depth of uterine cavity prior to insemination.

Limitations:

• Patient must have normal pelvic exam, evidence of ovulation
• Must have at least one patent fallopian tube
• Appropriate insemination time must be determined

• Insemination Cannula and 3cc syringe per packet
